Corporate Identity

Ideas and Concepts

The creation of the Kingfisher logo was a particularly rewarding project. Not only because the company is run by a close friend, but because I genuinely enjoy the challenge of evolving a brand while respecting its history. The existing logo had been in place for many years and held strong sentimental value, so the brief required a careful balance between modernisation and familiarity.

We began with an in-depth discussion around colour, style preferences, and elements he did and didn’t connect with. From there, I developed several design directions, each thoughtfully aligned with the brand’s identity. One concept stood out, and through a process of refinement and subtle tweaks, we evolved it into a final logo that felt both fresh and reassuringly familiar — a result he truly loved.

Logo Official

From logo evolution to digital and print, the Kingfisher brand was carefully refined into a cohesive, modern identity.

Website

Building on the new logo and colour palette, I redesigned the website to fully reflect the refreshed brand identity. The focus was on translating the new visual language into a clean, cohesive digital experience. Carefully selected imagery was used to reinforce the updated look and feel, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.

Although modest in scale, the site was thoughtfully crafted to clearly express the company’s new identity — modern, confident, and aligned with the brand’s direction moving forward.

Business Cards

The refreshed design was then extended across the company’s stationery, particularly business cards. This ensured the new identity was applied consistently beyond digital touchpoints. Careful attention was given to layout, typography, and colour usage, resulting in printed materials that feel considered, professional, and aligned with the brand’s new visual direction.
